3/04/07 - Daily Links

The first in what will become a regular feature here, my findings throughout the Web for the day. These will normally be from either an RPG-themed site (RPGLand, RPGdot, RPGWatch, etc.), or one of the big three (IGN, Gamespy, Gamespot).

The Escapist takes a look at Silverfall - So far so good.

Games Radar previews The Witcher - the highly anticipated game that won Just RPG's 'Best PC RPG of E3 2006' award

RPGFan reviews Chulip - I'm glad to see this game is finally out. I've been waiting forever, so it's good to see the positive review.

Strategy Informer reviews Vanguard: Saga of Heroes - Our strategy loving friends have mixed things to say about the recently released MMORPG.

We Want You!!!

Just-RPGDo you have a passion for playing video games? Do you like to write? If you answered "yes" to those two questions, then Just RPG wants you!

Just RPG is looking for new staff members to help out around the site. We're looking for all kinds of contributions, such as reviews, walkthroughs, previews, and fan art submissions. The site is constantly growing, and with plenty of exciting games on the horizon, we're going to need to recruit some help if we want to provide thorough coverage to our readers.

We critically need volunteers to help us cover PC games, but we're also interested in rounding out our staff of handheld and console writers. Applicants should have at least one gaming platform, strong writing skills, and a passion for the gaming industry. Considering this is an RPG site, knowledge and interest in RPGs is most important, but we frequently cover games outside of the RPG genre as well.

If you're interested in joining, please send an email describing your qualifications and what areas you're interested in covering to Just RPG.

Thanks for your interest, and good luck!!!

College Life + RPGs = College Saga!

College Saga! I came across this on YouTube and found it pretty hilarious. Fans of games like Zelda and Final Fantasy will catch plenty of references, especially with sounds.

There's actually several episodes in the series, so be sure to watch them all. It actually gets fairly lame for the last episode or so, but it's still worth a look.

Hello World!

Hello everyone!

This is the first in what I hope will be many, many blog posts. This is a new feature that we're hoping to introduce, so we'll see how it goes. Ideally, we'll post links, news tidbits and opinions about the world of RPGs and video games, so be sure to look back often!

If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to share them. This is a work in progress, so we could use the extra input.
