Platform: Xbox, Xbox 360
Release Date: November 2006

I never thought Iíd live to see the day that Burger King made an Xbox 360 game. Even more surprising, they made a halfway decent one in the form of Sneak King.

The premise of Sneak King is pretty simple. Youíre the King and your job is to deliver food to those who are hungry. When someone is hungry, an icon will display over their head. This icon will change depending on how hungry they are. You then have to sneak up on them and surprise them with some tasty Burger King food. Sound corny? Well, it is. But itís also pretty funny.

Youíll come across a fair variety of missions to accomplish, from delivering a number of sandwiches in 2 minutes, to making a bunch of deliveries without being seen by anyone. As you complete each mission, youíll unlock new missions and eventually progress onto the next stage. The gameplay stays pretty much the same through much of the game, so you may grow weary of playing after a stage or two, but itís fun for a while at least.

Your score is tracked based on how hungry the person you surprised was, how close you got to them, and how many deliveries you have made in a row without being seen. The more consecutive successful deliveries you perform the higher bonus you will get. You can also get Flourish points by timing your delivery correctly. Flourish points are a great way to jack up your score, and are also required in many of the missions.

The best thing about the Flourish points are the amusing dances the King performs when heís made a successful Flourish delivery. I found myself laughing many times during this game. However, after a while I got sort of sick of watching the same few dances over and over again. There are new dances, but you have to progress to the next stage to see them. A larger number of these dances would have helped the fun factor a lot.

This is a pretty simple game that you can learn in only a matter of minutes. Still, itís surprisingly entertaining, and appropriate for anyone to play. Best of all, itís only $3.99 with the purchase of a value meal at Burger King. There are 80 missions to play through and four different stages, meaning youíre definitely getting your money's worth. There are two other games in the Burger King promotional collection. Each of them come with the original Xbox version and the 360 version.

Graphically, Sneak King isnít anything special, but itís great considering the price. As I said earlier, the Kingís animations are pretty funny, and the opening movie where you watch the King sneak around in someoneís yard is sure to bring about a few giggles. Soundwise, the game is lacking, but what do you expect from a $4 game?

I see no need to go into any great detail with this game. Itís not particularly deep, so thereís not much to say, and with a price tag of only $3.99, even the poorest gamer can afford to try it out with no risk. You get what you pay for, so donít expect anything groundbreaking here. However, I feel confident that most gamers can get at least some level of enjoyment out of this game, even if itís just a few laughs. This is a great stocking stuffer for the holidays.

Final Grade: 60%
