Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is the first full-featured Adventure Pack for the D&D-based RPG Neverwinter Nights 2. You begin on a ship heading towards Westgate, thinking that maybe someone there can help you with a cursed mask that has been haunting you for quite some time. When you arrive at Westgate, you receive yet another vision seeming to call out to you. You leave the boat and join a rogue that says she will help you with the curse, and you gain your first party member.

Mysteries of Westgate focuses on two things, influence and conversation skills. You will only have three party members throughout the entire game, but in many conversations their influence will change. My favorite part about influence is that during certain conversations, you may need to use your allies for certain purposes and, depending on how much they like you, they may or may not do it.

During many conversations, there will be times when you can use diplomacy or intimidate, even if you don’t have any points in them. This is a cool thing. Of course, though, there won’t be much luck in having them successfully work, but it's still fun.

During your time in Westgate, you will have many quests to do. You stay inside of Westgate throughout the entire game, but it will take some time to explore everything. Many NPCs will have quests for you, or they will be needed for conversation.

A great thing about the map for Mysteries of Westgate is that some places that you find will be marked on your map when you exit an area. Once you exit a district, you will come onto a traveling map where you can just click on the area you want to go to.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is a great Adventure Pack, and it is an easy campaign to do and level fast. Also, at the end there will be two choices you can make, determining the ending. I give Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate a 90.
